The Plight of Fascism

Once again history is beginning to repeat itself as fascism has reared its ugly head once again. This time it seems that within the framework of our modern socio-political and geo-political landscapes, the bureaucrats responsible for this insatiable need for power, have their intentions wrapped around the guise of capitalism.

In the wake of global turmoil as genocide seems to be trending among first world countries, there begs the question if whether or not there is any faith to be had in our legal systems.

Not only are these legal systems that are set in place protecting these fascist capitalists, but now one may even begin to wonder if these laws were tailor made for these bureaucrats to operate unjustly against the people they are sworn to protect.

The utter disregard for humanity is becoming increasingly blatant, where right wing conservatives are given platforms to either lie about their discrepancies or out right given the space to even endorse them.

The latest of global leaders who are using major platforms to further their underhanded agendas, is one President of Israel Isaac Herzog. Herzog was interviewed by the Head and Chief Executive of Chatham House Bronwen Maddox in regards to the famine, genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people that Israel has perpetrated against in the last two years.

Herzog is of the belief that Israel is in fact not in any way perpetrating genocide against the people of Gaza, and outwardly denied that Israel is destroying food supplies for the innocent citizens of Gaza who have been suffering from starvation due to this ongoing war between the Iraeli Defense Force (IDF) and Hamas.

Herzog even went as far as stating the contrary, that the Israeli government has actually been delivering trucks full of food supplies into Gaza and said the reason it isn’t reaching the masses is because the supplies are being looted and resold by members of Hamas.

However despite these claims the World Health Organization (WHO) have reported daily that there is no food coming into Gaza as the famine continues to spread.

Herzog has recently paid a visit to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, earlier this week in order to sway the Prime Minister from siding with Palestine by arguing that Hamas is the reason that innocent civilians are being murdered because of Hamas’ refusal to return the Israeli hostages back to their homeland.

What President Herzog fails to understand or rather pretends to not understand is that there is so much evidence of innocent civilians being murdered by IDF forces as well as countless other countries within the United Nations beginning to recognise Israel’s response to Hamas as being completely detrimental to the collective people of Gaza.

This kind of response to a hostage situation is similar to that of Nazi’s who perpetrated ethnic cleansing and the genocide of the Jewish community, as they sought to take control over the entirety of Europe, now Israel is perpetrating the same idea within the Middle East as they have unleashed airstrikes on Qatar, Iran, Yemen, Lebanon and Syria.

Israel has conducted more than 17,000 attacks in five countries since October 7, with the most affected country being Palestine as Gaza has been the victims of 10,389 attacks from Israel which accounts for 60% of total attacks within the Middle East.

One may even wonder if South Africa is indeed true in their intentions to stop Israel, as the Israeli embassy continues to operate in the country and South Africa continues to trade with Israel despite their “efforts” to call out the Israeli government for their breach of humanitarian and international law.

The South African government authorises shipments of coal to Israel that amount to 1.8 million tonnes and allows corporations like Amazon Web Services (AWS) that are providing military aid to Israel to operate and desecrate the land of the indigenous Khoi and the San.

When will the fascism end ? When will nations truly be sovereign? When will freedom finally prevail?
