As the U.S. presidential election approaches, tensions between Democrats and Republicans are rife in American streets and on social media.

In the latest century of the United States of America, where millions of youths and middle-aged adults occupy the nation’s working and power forces, only two over 70 years old are voted to be the next U.S. president.

No different than the last presidential election in 2020, the current president, Joe Biden, from the Democratic Party, versus Donald Trump, from the Republican Party, are elected.

Debate, mockery, comparisons, and speculations are sprawling over the moments of this intense scene between the two.

Biden has been seen engaging in many ambiguous behaviours and actions that banter with excessive humour. There were times he was shaking hands with someone in the air. There were times he was trying to sit on an invisible chair. He even answers disputably with his counterparts, like the time between him and China’s president on a visit to the U.S. When a journalist asked him about China, Biden knocked him off on air by describing him as a “dictator,” though the two leaders made progress in their relationship during a meeting outside San Francisco. This has put U.S. Foreign Minister Antony Blinken in a very hazy situation.

He mistook the Mexican president for Egypt’s president, demanding that he open the borders between Rafah and Gaza, and the entire conference was between Biden and the Mexican president.

The 81-year-old man can’t walk or climb the stairs properly unless there is someone who can aid him, such as his wife, and lead him down the road. He is considered the oldest U.S. president to date. The question of age has loomed heavily for Biden and remains a major point of contention in his 2024 presidential run.

Speculations have been swishing about Biden that he has any illness. In response to that, the White House explains that the president experiences occasional symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux, primarily having to clear his throat more often. This may also contribute to occasional coughs and sinus congestion. All related to his abdomen system.

The neurological exam that Biden went under didn’t reveal any evidence of stroke, neurological disorders, or Parkinson’s disease, White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor wrote in a memo detailing the results of Biden’s exam. The memo did not say whether the physical included tests for cognitive decline or dementia.

Trump, who is 77, on the other hand, seems to be in good mental and physical health. However, he has been charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records, making him the first former American president to be convicted of felony crimes. His sentencing is scheduled for July 11, just days before the Republican National Convention, where GOP leaders are set to formally make him their nominee for president.

There is not a term in the U.S. constitution that shall bar someone with charges from joining the presidential elections.

Withdrawal didn’t instigate to stymie Trump despite all these charges. He quashed all that’s happening to him about the Democrats, who are trying to hinder him from entering the presidential elections. Stunningly, his campaign has raised a staggering $200 million since the announcement of these charges, according to his son, Eric Trump. Trump’s popularity has grown. In a CBS poll, Trump took the highest rate of votes for “Has Vision for Leading Country,” hitting 67% of “yes,” while Biden took 51% for the same consent. For the “no” answer, Biden was voted with 49% and Trump with 33%.

Now, the most divisive debate that both are flaming at is immigration policy and Israel-Hamas’s war.

Much of the muchness, Trump will continue his strict immigration policy that he started in his last presidential term. He promised he would evict all the illegal immigrants and review the citizenship of those who caused trouble for American society. He will again shield the border with Mexico, preventing the entry of many illegal immigrants from Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and central Asia.

Trump promised that once he becomes the next U.S. president, he will immediately cease the war in Gaza. And if he were the president, he wouldn’t have allowed the war to erupt in this conflicted area by any means, including the war between Ukraine and Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview that for him, it doesn’t matter if Biden or Trump win, as this won’t change anything between the two countries.

“When I was president, Iran was bankrupt,” Trump stated during one of his election campaigns. “I told China, if you buy oil from Iran, we will not do business with you and stop.” Trump further emphasised that he told the same thing to the other countries, and this has diminished Iran’s revenue and finances, slashing the money supply to Hamas and Hezbollah. The Iranian militias are active because Biden lifted the sanctions, making Iran gain billions and threatening everyone again.

Trump revealed that Biden is the one who impeded the Israeli military from entering Rafah and rescuing the American hostages. Trump labelled this as a huge “treason” to the U.S.

During Trump’s presidential days, he was able to shred calamity in the Middle East and forge strong relations between Israel and Arab countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco. Saudi Arabia was intended, but Biden’s administration didn’t interfere in this.

In a Fox News TV interview, Trump ascertained his love for his country, stating that he doesn’t want his country to be indulged in a nuclear war and exposed to austere damage. “We are talking here about the genocide of the world.” He referred to the nuclear weapon as a global warming and climate change weapon, and no one is pondering this.

Economically, the U.S. has been thriving more under Trump than under Biden. From 2017 until 2020, US economic confidence was very high in comparison with Biden’s duration time, which was from 2020 until 2024, recording negative results, according to Gallup’s Economic Confidence Index. The source demonstrated other growing concerns related to the economy under Biden’s influence, whereas the immigration issue is also climbing faster.

Many American citizens have complained through social media videos and reels that 50 bucks won’t be ample to buy a variety of products as much as it was before. Residences and rent are starting to become a controversy among many people. Businessmen or those involved in business and startups are leaning towards Trump as he fixed the state’s economy at a stable level without punitive taxes and soaring inflation, unlike what the Democrats are doing.

On social media, everyone is evincing high hopes for Trump to win the presidential elections because the far-right wing in Europe has surged to the majority of seats, expelling the left-wing parties. In France, for example, the Marine Le Pein far-right party leader has annexed the seats in the EU, inciting the current French president, Emmanuel Macron, to dissolve the National Assembly and require early elections. The same is going on in Germany, Vienna, Ireland, Belgium, and soon the United Kingdom. The common stance that they are all firm about, including Trump, is immigration policy.
