The Moroccan Monarch, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has issued urgent Instructions for the dispatch of emergency humanitarian and medical aid to the Palestinian people, particularly the populations of the Gaza Strip, said, on Wednesday 30th July 2025 in a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates.

This support, totalling nearly 180 tons, consists of basic foodstuffs, milk, and children’s products, as well as medicines and surgical equipment for the most vulnerable populations. It also includes blankets, suitable tents, and other equipment.

The aid will be transported via a specially arranged route, allowing for rapid and direct delivery to Palestinian beneficiaries. This humanitarian aid is part of the concrete solidarity that continuously drives the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as its unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause and its brotherly people, the statement concluded.

It is to be recalled that In March 2024, Morocco deployed an unprecedented initiative: shipments of humanitarian aid (around 40 tonnes) were transported to Gaza by land via Israel, after transit by air to Tel Aviv. This marked a world first in the delivery of aid to Gaza.

Indeed, Morocco was the first country to operate, during this war, a terrestrial humanitarian aid directly to the population of Gaza.
