Latest satellite reports over the weekend have verified that since the start of the war, Iran has damaged around 20 US military sites,  as they have targeted key places around the Middle East since the end of February, which have caused millions of dollars in damage.

Iran has targeted both US bases and shared military facilities as a measure of retaliation for the US-Israeli air strikes across Iran and Lebanon over the course of three months. The United States has revealed that it has hit over 13,000 targets in Iran since the beginning of their operation called “Operation Epic Fury”.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Motjaba Khamenei, highlighted the success of the Iranian military in striking US facilities as he claimed that the Middle East was no longer a safe space for American bases.

The US have claimed that the Iranian military have almost been wiped out however according to satellite imaging Iran’s attacks on US military bases have suggested that their strikes have proven more potent and extensive than what the US government has suggested.

Iranian strikes have also heavily destroyed US refuelling and surveillance aircraft at Prince Sultan Airbase in Saudi Arabia, with damaged aircraft and smoking craters visible in satellite imaging.

Iranian attacks have also targeted Ali Al Salem airbase and Camp Arifjan in Kuwait. The Operation Epic Fury project is estimated to cost around $29 billion according to the Pentagon, as a measure to give a perspective on the extent of the cost in damages to the US military bases.

42 aircraft, 24 MQ-9 Reaper drones and an A-10 attack plane have been destroyed and damaged since February.

“The nations and land of the region will no longer serve as shields for American bases” said Khamenei.

“America will no longer have a safe place in the region for mischief and the establishment of military bases, and day by day it will drift further from its former position” Khamenei added.

On Thursday Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have stated that it targeted an American base in the region after new US strikes on South Iran
